The Steward's training program
FusionTrace Academy
Where law enforcement agencies, their investigators and the organizations that train them learn the FusionTrace Evidence Standard, sit its exam, and earn the credential the Standard defines.

FusionTrace Certified
For law enforcement agencies and their investigators. Seven short modules, C1 to C7, about 80 minutes with one guided check of a sealed package and a short custody lab, then a 30-minute supervised exam on the Steward's engine, and C8, The Canons, ending in a signed attestation: C1 to C8 and the exam, about two hours in all. An agency adds an administrator, who takes two more modules and a 15-minute add-on exam (Standard D4.1, D4.2).
FusionTrace Master Certified
For organizations that work alongside law enforcement and train agencies, and for their trainers: the investigator course, the administrator modules, the trainer module, a teach-back of at least 45 minutes by live video, a 60-minute trainer exam, a co-taught first course and the signed attestation to the FusionTrace Canons: about four hours before the first course, always at least twice the investigator pathway (Standard D10.2, D10.3). A designation in words, with no mark.
How it stays fair
Trainers teach. The Steward scores every exam and issues every certificate, the same way for every agency and person (D10.4(d)). Every exam is supervised live by a proctor on video, and no one travels to supervise. Nothing is recorded, and nothing about you is watched by software.
Enrolment is by invitation
The Steward or a Master Certified organization invites an agency's administrator, and the administrator invites the agency's people. There is no open sign-up and no fee for an exam or a certificate.
